BRIEF HISTORY – CHALLENGER 350

BOMBARDIER CHALLENGER 350 (2014-2021)
Following a decade of popularity, the Challenger 350 was released as the successor of the 1999-launched Challenger 300. The enhanced model flew for the first time on March 2, 2013, and was unveiled during the following May’s EBACE conference. Bombardier Aviation, a subsidiary of Bombardier Aerospace, delivered its first Challenger 350 to a fractional ownership company in late June 2014. On September 27th, 2019, The Challenger 350 valiantly displayed its unrivaled performance capabilities and impressive reliability (99.79% dispatch rate) by setting ten city-pair speed records while flying over 5,600 nautical miles in less than 20 hours and 30 minutes including  the top US business aviation destinations, setting a speed record for each and every segment along the route. By November of 2021, there have been almost 500 Challenger 300’s and almost 400 Challenger 350’s delivered.

In this building is a team of experts with skills in cabinetry and finishing, woodworking, upholstery, and painting that collaborate on many parts of the aircraft’s manufacturing and development, bringing the customer’s vision to life and ensuring every last detail is flawless.Larger windows, ample natural light, and a flat-floor design contribute to the feeling of accessibility and comfort, allowing you to move unimpeded about the spacious cabin with safety and ease. Additionally, it’s difficult to exaggerate the advantages of effortless access to the baggage compartment while in flight, ensuring that your personal belongings are always within reach. The Challenger 350 is equipped with one of the most sophisticated Cabin Management Systems (CMS) in the industry of its time which was integrated seamlessly and elegantly into the surrounding decor, bringing this finely crafted interior to life. All controls are conveniently located at your fingertips, making it easier than ever to pair and interact with the CMS via your own devices. View a movie on the enormous high-definition monitors, listen to crystal-clear music, easily transition between entertainment and information, and connect to the outside world via various high-speed air-to-ground networking technologies. POWER AND PERFORMANCE – CHALLENGER 350
The Challenger 350 is equipped with two impressive Honeywell HTF7350 turbofan engines positioned at the rear and are capable of maximum cruise speeds of 547 knots and reaching a maximum altitude of 45,000 feet. Each of the Honeywell engines generates 7,323 lbf of thrust, which is almost 1,000 lbf of thrust more than its predecessor, the Challenger 300. Bombardier’s jets are renowned for their extraordinary performance, and an extra smooth ride is a game changer when flying nonstop on an intercontinental route such as New York to London or endless other destinations as the Challenger 350 has a remarkable 3,200 nautical mile “true range” – the aircraft fully fueled and full cabin. Most others will advertise a range with only half of the passenger capacity or some other asterisk.

Four adaptive LCD displays, a dual fleet management system (FMS) capable of LPV and RNP approaches, a synthetic vision system, dual inertial reference systems, and an integrated flight information system with dual file.
