The 9th generation of the Citation series, the CJ4, was announced in October of 2006, take its first prototype flight in May of 2008, first production flight on August 19th, 2008, and its first delivery completed in 2010. The CJ4’s runway performance has again been approved upon making it very agile at sea level as well as increasing performance during hot-and-high conditions (hot temperatures and high altitude).
