BRIEF HISTORY – FALCON 7X

DASSAULT FALCON 7X (2007-PRESENT)
At the Paris Air Show in 2001, Dassault announced its largest business jet yet, the Falcon 7X.  Outperforming comparable aircraft in its class, owing in significant part to a new engine and entire redesign. It was delivered 6 years later in 2007. It is one out of three business jets to feature a third engine or tri-engine, other two being the Falcon 900LX and 8X.The 7X combines the agility of a Very Light Jet with the efficiency of a long-range aircraft. This enables the aircraft to fly between smaller airports over longer distances. Dassault showed off its speed in 2014 when it set a record for the fastest flight between New York and London. The flight took only 5 hours and 54 minutes.

CABIN COMFORTS – FALCON 7X
Dassault has always excelled at innovative cabin design. Dassault designed the 7X with an enormous cabin that accommodates three separate zones. Dassault’s high standards of comfort, quality, and style have been applied to the aircraft. When flying at 45,000 feet, the cabin altitude is only 4,800 feet; however, when cruising at 51,000 feet, the cabin altitude increases to 6,000 feet. At 41,000 feet, the cabin is 3,950 feet above sea level! The cabin has a low noise level of 52 dB. As a result, clients enjoy a tranquil, soothing environment. These factors ensure that you arrive at your location with the least amount of jet lag possible. The 7X’s climate control system is capable of maintaining a temperature within one degree throughout the cabin. The air is re-hydrated and re-energized. Dassault’s powerful cabin management system is included in the 7X. This system provides you with easy-to-use entertainment and networking features. FalconCabin HD+ enables remote operation of the cabin through a mobile device.

POWER AND PERFORMANCE – FALCON 7X
The 7X is powered by three Pratt & Whitney Canada PW307A engines. Each engine produces 6,402 pounds of torque. They contribute to the jet’s range of 5,950 nautical miles and its quick Mach.90 max cruise speed. The improved engines minimize vibration and cabin noise to only 52 dB. While cruising, making them ideal for relaxing and recharging while flying. Thanks to the high performance engines, the minimum landing distance is somewhat more than 2,000 feet. The 7X is permitted for operation at London City Airport because of its low approach speed of about 104 knots. Above all, the tri-jet consumes 15–30 percent less fuel than other aircraft in its class, resulting in considerable cost savings.

FLIGHT DECK – FALCON 7X
Dassault enhanced the design of the Falcon 7X, unveiling it as the world’s first entirely fly-by-wire business jet. By regulating the aircraft’s pitch, the fly-by-wire technology allows pilots better control. The Falcon 7X’s extended range is made feasible by an entirely new wing design and Dassault’s first winglets. The Falcon 7X is equipped with the Honeywell Primus EASy system as standard. It comes equipped with four large-format LCD panels and integrated navigation (high-definition terrain displays and graphic flight planning). The LCD screens can monitor and modify everything, removing the need for circuit breakers and panels and enhancing dependability.

CHARTER A FALCON 7X
From the start, the Falcon 7X was designed to be a game changer, providing the industry’s first Digital Flight Control System to business aviation. As with many other parts of the aircraft, the DFCS was developed using Dassault’s 30 years of military expertise, particularly with the Rafale and Mirage 2000 projects. The 7X is the first business aircraft to incorporate combat jet technology into a luxurious, whisper-quiet VIP cabin. If you have an intercontinental trip coming up, we highly suggest you look into the Falcon line. CharterJets Inc. features the newest and highest safety rated Falcon 7X’s available.
