BRIEF HISTORY – PHENOM 300

EMBRAER | EMB-505 | PHENOM 300 (2009-2018)
Embraer began developing the Phenom 300, a Super Light Jet, after discovering potential Phenom 100 owners also had an interest for a larger, more capable version. The Phenom 100’s fuselage was extended by 14 inches, an entirely new wing was designed and constructed, and the powerful yet stealthy Pratt & Whitney Canada turbofan engines were installed. The Embraer Phenom 300 had its first flight in 2008 and earned FAA Type Certification as the Embraer EMB-505 in early December 2009 and shortly after on the 29th of December 2009 the first Phenom 300 was delivered Executive Flight Services, headquartered in Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil. With 60 units delivered in 2013, the Phenom 300 became the most delivered business jet and continued this trend consecutively year after year after year all the way through 2021.

MADE IN THE USA – PHENOM 300
After July 2016, all Phenom and Legacy assembly was relocated to the five-year-old Melbourne, Florida assembly and completion center, which formerly was only equipped for Phenom 100’s and 300’s. This completion center now has the capacity to assemble 96 Phenoms and 72 Embraer Legacy 450/500 (now Praetor 500/600) aircraft yearly. By June 2016, the factory had produced over 170 Phenom jets, primarily for US consumers.Embraer delivered the 500th Phenom 300 in March 2019, securing more than half of the entire Light Jet market since 2012. It has flown 2.5 million passengers in over 30 countries on 600,000 flights and 800,000 hours. The 600th unit was delivered in May 2021 to Superior Capital Holdings, LLC based in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The seats in the cabin are extremely versatile and intuitive to use. The interior is brilliantly illuminated by strategically placed (making the cabin feel more spacious), adjustable LED lights , as well as large windows providing abundant natural light in every corner—including in the jet’s fully enclosed lavatory with two windows!Throughout the cabin, from the comfort of each seat, you will have access to individual power outlets, tablet holders, and touch-screen controls to allow you or your passengers to track their travel in real time. For in-flight entertainment and communication, high-speed internet access is offered for non stop connectivity. A two-zone climate system ensures that fresh air is constantly circulated throughout the cabin while allowing the crew to control their zone and the passengers to control theirs.Additionally, the Phenom boasts impressive baggage capacity in the Super Light Jet class, with 74 cubic feet of exterior and 10 cubic feet of internal storage, as well as the class’s largest refreshment center. As an add-on, the aircraft’s aft luggage compartment can be heated and equipped with a closet for hanging suits and other items further increasing the total baggage capacity. Don’t hesitate to bring the golf clubs or extra bag this time!

POWER AND PERFORMANCE – PHENOM 300
The Phenom 300 offers the best performance in its class, covering greater distances at faster rates than its competitors. Two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW535E turbofan engines each producing 3,200 pounds of thrust power the business jet effortlessly, ascending to 35,000 ft in 13 minutes, 39,000 ft in 16 minutes and to its cruising altitude of 45,000 feet in an astonishing 27 minutes! These engines enable the aircraft to reach a max speed of 598 mph and a maximum range of around 2000 nautical miles (at speeds around 450 mph), allowing it to fly nonstop between Teterboro and Aspen. The Phenom 300 is more than equipped to utilize even the most restrictive airports, departing from high elevations in ski country, or landing on short runways in hot weather, this aircraft can do it all. With a maximum cruising altitude of 45,000 feet, fly high above the majority of turbulence and air traffic while maintaining a low cabin pressure. Embraer wanted to increase fuel efficiency and were able to do that through the use of a more metallic airframe, this assists in fuel distribution between two wing tanks. As a result, the aircraft became much more fuel efficient, burning up to 19% less fuel than comparable Light or even Super Light Jets. Overall, the Phenom 300 emits fewer pollutants and is one of the most environmentally friendly aircraft in its class.

FLIGHT DECK – PHENOM 300

Prodigy includes dual-channel flight control systems, an altitude and heading reference system, an advanced engine indicator and crew alerting system, and a terrain awareness and warning system. The suite provides pilots with straightforward, user-friendly technology that aids their awareness and significantly reduces the possibility of flight-related errors.
