BRIEF HISTORY – PILATUS PC-12 NGX – THE WORLDS #1 SELLING TURBOPROP
The Pilatus PC-12 aircraft family has a long and illustrious history. The PC-12 NGX is the latest edition of the Swiss manufacturer’s single-engine turboprop. Originally announced in 1989, the PC-12 was developed in an effort to meet a growing demand for a single-engine aircraft with a spacious cabin, capable of high cruise speeds, and an enviable range.The first flight occurred in 1991, and certification came in the spring of 1994. 13 years later, in 2007, Pilatus unveiled the PC-12 NG, the next iteration of the PC-12. Pilatus introduced the latest model, the Pilatus PC-12 NGX, twelve years later AT NBAA-BACE in October 2019. The PC-12 NGX has a quieter cabin, increased cruising speed, upgraded avionics, the window size has increased and the cabin has been reimagined and remodeled. The first PC-12 NGX was delivered May 25, 2020 to HP, Inc.

Passengers will also enjoy access to the baggage compartment in the aft of the aircraft during flight as well as the private lavatory located near the flight deck. One door closes off the cockpit and the other door closes off the cabin and you are in your fully enclosed lavatory.

POWER AND PERFORMANCE – PILATUS PC-12 NGX
The PC-12 NGX is equipped with a single Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6E-67XP engine equipped with an electronic propeller and engine control system (EPECS). This contributes to the NGX’s short take-off distance of 2,485 feet. The aircraft’s landing distance is an impressive 2,170 feet. When in max cruise, the aircraft can reach a speed of 290 knots. The aircraft has a certified ceiling of 30,000 feet and a maximum range of 1,803 nautical miles (2,075 miles / 3,339 kilometers). Customers benefit from a maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 10,450 lbs when flying their missions.
