BRIEF HISTORY – PRAETOR 500

Embraer Executive Jets developed the Praetor 500 off of the wildly successful Legacy 450 platform. The Praetor 500 was introduced in October of 2018 along with the larger Praetor 600, based off of the Legacy 500 platform. Both aircraft were approved in 2019 and the first Praetor 500 was delivered on December 23, 2019 to one of its long-time clients, a fractional fleet. The Praetor 500 is one of the most revolutionary and technologically sophisticated Midsize Jets ever manufactured, owed to its excellent range and speed.

CABIN COMFORTS – PRAETOR 500
As you enter you will feel the cabin’s large proportions along with a completely flat floor, giving the Praetor 500 an incredibly spacious feel which all makes maneuvering throughout the cabin during flight a breeze. The Praetor 500’s cabin is 24 feet long, almost 7 feet wide, and 6 feet high. The Praetor 500 has a maximum seating capacity of nine passengers; however, in most configurations, the maximum seating capacity will be seven.The main cabin is configured with four club chairs and two forward-facing seats. All chairs recline and swivel, making them ideal for working or conversing with fellow passengers. Naturally, if you’re traveling at night or require a rest, the seats are fully-berth, meaning they can be adjusted into entirely flat beds. The attractive yet practical galley is fully equipped with a microwave, conventional oven, refrigerator, coffee brewer, and magnificent crystal, china, and silverware, all contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of your flight experience. The Praetor 500’s state-of-the-art networking system — Gogo AVANCE L5 and Ka-band technology – ensures that Wi-Fi access is just as robust and dependable as at home or work. The Honeywell Ovation Select Cabin Management Suite on board the aircraft offers continuous 1080P HD TV streaming and is even equipped with immersive audio throughout the cabin. The upper tech panel has a touchscreen, which is unique to Embraer business jets, providing flight status information, ambient lighting, and access to cabin settings at your fingertips.

POWER AND PERFORMANCE – BRAZIL’S BEST – PRAETOR 500
The Embraer Praetor 500 is powered by two Honeywell HTF7500E engines located on the rear fuselage, each delivering 6,540 pounds of thrust (13,080 lbs total). This enables the Praetor 500 to cruise at a top speed of 466 knots over a maximum range of 3,340 nautical miles (3,844 miles/6,186 kilometers) at a cruising altitude of 45,000 feet. When traveling in a Praetor 500, you will be more efficient while in the air as well as arrive feeling much more refreshed and rejuvenated thanks to its low cabin noise levels of 53 dB paired with its low cabin altitude never exceeding 5,800 feet at cruising altitude. The Praetor 500 is an extremely nimble aircraft with a take-off distance of 4,222 feet and a landing distance of 2,086 feet. As a result, the Praetor 500 is capable of flying between smaller airports than comparable aircraft. The Praetor 500 has a maximum take-off weight of 37,567 pounds (MTOW) and a maximum payload of 2,921 pounds.

FLIGHT DECK – PRAETOR 500
The Praetor 500 has a state-of-the-art Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion flight deck with four 38-centimeter diagonal Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD). It is equipped with a Synthetic Vision System (SVS), which provides three-dimensional data for intuitive situational awareness during takeoff and landing. The flight deck has electronic charts, maps, and checklists that are geo-referenced. Praetor 500 is equipped with a vision system and Head-Up Displays (HUD). The avionics suite assists the pilot in reducing overall workload, improving decision-making in-flight, providing accurate navigation, and connectivity all of which guarantee flight safety.Thanks to Embraer’s persistence and resilience on the the Legacy 500’s platform, the Praetor 500 has an advanced fly-by-wire flight control system with side stick controls, an inertial reference system (IRS) for navigation data, and an automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) for satellite navigation.
