CIRRUS VISION JET SF50 (2016-PRESENT)
The Vision Jet’s composite frame and engine power enable it to land in just 1,628 feet, and to take off in a staggering 2,036 feet. Thanks to the performance of the Vision Jet, you’ll be able to land at smaller airports which open up countless new destinations with much less air traffic, closer to your final destination. Due to the jet’s minimal weight and efficiency, the Vision Jet has a maximum range of 1,275 nautical miles, which is more than enough to carry you from Paris to Luton or from Los Angeles to Denver with reserves.

FIRST JET WITH A PARACHUTE
New to both Cirrus Aircraft’s and the Entry Level Light Jet or Very Light Jet (VLJ) categories, the Cirrus Vision Jet SF50 is equipped with the Cirrus Airframe Parachute Systems (CAPS). Cirrus says the device adds another layer of protection to occupants, similar to how seatbelts work in vehicles. Thanks to some incredible engineering and innovation, this is a standard feature that no other general aviation manufacturer offers. When the red CAPS handle is pushed in flight, a solid-fuel rocket is launched out of the parachute housing. In mere seconds, the parachute will fully expand and begin to maintain a safe rate of descent until the aircraft gently touches down. The purpose-built Cirrus Energy Absorbing Technology (CEAT) seats, customized and reinforced landing gear, as well as a specialized roll cage all contribute to the aircraft’s ability to absorb impact while landing with the parachute deployed.

The specialized Multi-function Display enables the pilot to rapidly monitor numerous integrated aircraft system Synoptics.The fully digital, dual-channel Automated Flight Control System (AFCS) is built on smart servo technology and provides precise lateral and vertical navigation guidance during each phase of flight. Amazingly, Perspective Touch+’s increased versatility enables you to monitor multiple system Synoptics simultaneously – checklists, weather radar, moving map, and traffic, to name a few. Synthetic Vision Technology (SVT) delivers a “virtual reality” view of land and water features, as well as runway obstructions and other traffic, providing a realistic visual representation of your environment.
