The Phenom 100 / E / EV is one of the very best Very Light Jet’s on the market. Below I have included five things to keep in mind prior to chartering a Phenom 100.
HIGHEST PASSENGER CAPACITY
The Phenom 100 series can accommodate up to 7 passengers if flown by a single pilot, however, to ensure maximum comfort and performance, we advise to limit the group between 2-4 adult passengers.
LARGEST BAGGAGE CAPACITY
The baggage capacity for the Phenom 100’s far outweighs its competitors in its class. It has two exterior baggage compartments, one unpressurized in the nose and one pressurized in the rear of the aircraft with an access door under the engine. Both these total almost 71 cu ft of storage which also includes optional ski tubes. There is an optional 6 cubic feet of storage available as an add-on that would replace the small galley near the flight deck.
LATEST CABIN TECHNOLOGY
As you board the aircraft you will notice LED lighting and retractable cup holders large enough to accommodate personal electrical gadgets and cell phones. BMW elevated the side-ledge to new heights and incorporated storage nooks, AC power outlets, headset plug-ins, lighting and temperature controls, MP3 plugs, and even going as far as to integrate speakers and equip the aircraft with XM satellite radio! PERFORMANCE
As you near aircraft passenger capacity, its range can be significantly reduced, even by up to 50%! To ensure maximum comfort and performance, we suggest limiting adult passengers to 4 and if there are a few children in the group, this would assist in accommodating more than 4. If you have 5-6 adults, we would recommend using the larger variant of the Phenom 100, the Phenom 300 which can accommodate up to 9!
SUPER LIGHT CABIN AT VERY LIGHT JET (VLJ) PRICE
Boasting the largest in class cabin size, it rivals aircraft that are two categories larger in the Super Light Jet Class such as the Learjet 45. The Phenom 100 has the same cabin height and width of its larger counterpart, the Phenom 300.
