5 THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE CHARTERING A CIRRUS VISION JET SF50 / G2

Get an Instant Quote

Cirrus Vision Jets have reshaped the Very Light Jet market by being the first widely produced single-engine jet. What it lacks in cabin space, it makes up for with technology and safety features unmatched by any other business jet on the market. When considering a Cirrus Vision Jet for your next trip, there are five things below to keep in mind before making your decision:

PASSENGER COUNT
Increasing passenger count will decrease performance, specifically range. If you are going to have more than 2 to 3 passengers, we highly recommend moving up an aircraft category to a traditional Light or even a Super Light Jet that will accommodate your group more comfortably.

VERSATILE CABIN
The Cirrus Vision Jet’s cabin is modular and can quickly adapt to the passenger count you intend to bring for each trip. This helps maximize the amount of baggage you can bring on each trip as well as helps maximize the amount of usable space in the cabin.

CERTIFIED FOR SINGLE PILOT OPERATION
While Charter Jets, Inc. always recommends two pilots, the Cirrus Vision Jet is certified for single pilot operations and is one of the safest jets on the market. A second pilot significantly reduces your MTOW (Maximum Take Off Weight) limiting passenger count to 2 adults and possibly a child. If you wish to fly single pilot, as some of our clients do, we can advise which aircraft are best to do that in and the Cirrus Vision Jet ranks amongst the highest.

CIRRUS AIRFRAME PARACHUTE SYSTEMS
The Vision Jet is outfitted with “CAPS”, Cirrus Airframe Parachute System. There is a small red “CAPS” handle that you pull and the system rockets into action, literally, by launching a rocket out of the parachute hatch and in a few short seconds the parachute would be inflated and the aircraft would be descending at a safe rate of speed. Also, the entire aircraft has been purpose built around this with reinforced landing gear, shock absorbing seats, etc.

COMING SOON TO THE CIRRUS G2 VISION JET FEATURING “SAFE RETURN”
One of the most technologically advanced innovations we have seen in recent years is Garmin’s Cirrus Safe Return emergency auto-landing system. At the push of a button, countless processes’ spring into action, all working in unison to communicate the emergency and aircraft intentions with ATC, scan the area for any surrounding aircraft or objects, while also finding the quickest and safest airport to land. Once the desired airport has been selected the system communicates the path with ATC to ensure they can re-route any approaching aircraft nearby and from there, the aircraft will safely land the aircraft. You read that right, in an emergency, with the push of a button, you initiate Safe Return auto-land sequence and that is it! You sit back and let Cirrus, Garmin, and ATC do the rest! What a fantastic innovation from two creative companies. Cirrus continually impresses all with industry-leading technology that is proving the impossible, possible. The safety features seen on Cirrus’ aircraft will permeate the entire industry and become standard in a decade. With the release of the Vision Jet, they have proven their imagination and ingenuity through their products. We highly recommend looking into a Cirrus Vision Jet for your next quick trip.
