What is “Peak Season Travel”?Peak season travel is when there is a significant increase in demand and generally refers to travel periods around major holidays or sporting events. Below are a few things to consider if you have travel plans during “peak season”.
-BOOK IN ADVANCE: for any peak season travel we would recommend booking one to two months in advance to guarantee aircraft availability.
-PRICING INCREASE: During peak season travel, pricing can surge for a variety of reasons, such as:
-Increased Fuel Pricing
– Limited Aircraft Availability
– Increased Repositioning Fees
– Ground and Handling Fees
– International Fees
-LAST MINUTE BOOKING: be flexible as aircraft options are likely limited depending on location and flight details. We have seen a significant increase in clients that are booking more than 4 weeks in advance. If possible, try to book about 4-6 weeks prior to your departure date. As that is not possible a majority of the time, no need to worry, our aviation professionals are veterans at last minute bookings and “ASAP Charters” (within 24 hours prior to departure). Reach out today to discuss your upcoming travel needs, we are always available to assist.
